This is a comprehensive directory of Golf in Mid Ohio. The directory includes all private and public courses, practice ranges, other virtual / miniature / disk courses, and golf equipment makers, wholesalers and specialty stores. There is a map for each of these facility types in the directory.
The site is optimized for a computer display with 800x600 resolution and at least 64K colors to accomodate graphic features like the maps. Since Javascript is used to navigate the site, use Internet Explorer or Netscape versions 4 and above to view all this site has to offer. Use the buttons below to get their latest versions.

The instructions below explain how to get the most from the Map Views, Facility Profiles,
Entry (Map) View
The main, framed window (shown below) that is viewed upon entering the site includes a menu of the site contents (left frame) and a map marking private and public courses (right frame). There are six other map views like this for each of the three course types, Practice Facilities, Other Fairways, and Equipment.
Please note that due to the use of frames this is the view that is bookmarked by your browser when use use Alt-D or the browser's menu to save a page as a favorite - no matter what page you are viewing on this site.
Menu:
Click on the directory logo to return home to the entry view pictured above. Use
the menu on the left to view the maps of the various golf facilities. These are the first
six items.
Choose Find It Fast! to select facilities by type and amenities; and sort by fees and other factors.

The mapped area is within 50 miles of Columbus, Ohio. There are maps for each of
the first six (6) menu items. Use the maps to locate over 180 golf-specific facilities.
The browser window status bar shows the facility name as you pass your mouse over the base of a
marker. Please note that this function requires a javascript-enabled browser.
Click on a map marker to view that facility's profile. Click on the golf ball and marker(s) to follow those links.
A profile of each facility is generated from information in the directory's database. Each profile includes basic name, address, telephone number, and MapQuest link based upon the address. As available and applicable, data regarding contact people, year built, amenities, fees, hours of operation, season, location direction, web site address, and description. If coupons, sales, and/or special event announcements are provided by the business they will be included on that facility's profile. Private and public golf course profiles will also include par, rating, slope, and yardage details.

Drop-Down Lists:
At the top of each profile is its name with a drop-down list of all facilities of
the same type - private, public 18, etc. Click on the name to view the list. Use it to
select businesses of that type by name. Use the scrollbar to review the list. Click on a
name to view that profile. Please note that this function requires a
javascript-enabled browser.
As available, there are additional details about a business in the four other drop-down lists: Contact Person(s); Built In - By:; Amenities:; and Fees:. Click on one to view the list.
Hyperlinks:
Click on "Map it @ MAPQUEST" to go to the MapQuest web site and
further locate the facility geographically. The corresponding address information is
passed to that site for it to render a map based upon that data. Please note that this
site can not guarantee the accuracy of the map generated by MapQuest.
A web URL will also be available on the profile if the facility has a web site and its address is included in the database. In addition, the bottom line links to the site copyright notice and terms of use.
This tool lets you select among the 200+ facilities in the directory by type and one or more amenities. In addition, you may rank the selection by any one factor. Given the variety of businesses listed, not all combinations will make sense.

First select the type of facility you are want. Click on the radio button for any one type or the all button.
Next, you may select any number of amenities from the kinds listed: Course, Range, and Clubhouse / Pro Shop.
Then you may choose one factor upon which to rank order the results.
Last, click on the "Get Results" button. The screen will refresh with a new set of results. The section's title line will tell you how many facilities match the query and how many (if any) have that data field empty and are not listed.
Click on any item listed in the results to retrieve the profile for that facility. Please note that this function requires a javascript-enabled browser.
